ASL and Deafness

Hello, I have a deaf brother and worked at a school for the deaf 8 yrs before deciding to stay home with my twins.

every baby should learn to sign. my kid has benefited so much from it. she only knows around 200 words because the dvds we use to teach her are expensive.

there is nothing more beautiful than when a Deaf child understands his/her first sign! For that matter...when teaching any baby to sign, the excitement of seeing that first sign is almost unbelievable!!! The culture of the Deaf is amazing, and whether you are Deaf or not, join us!
