Okay, great. Why $74.99? I will not be paying. I love all things Disney but I could use that money for something else. Maybe I could use a birthday or Christmas present to join but I don't know. I think there needs to be some kind of trial period.

I agree. As much as I love Disney I just don't see paying almost $75 to join a club. I would be cool if they did a 5 - 10 day trial period so you could see what you're getting.

I love Disney, but I don't understand why $74.99. I don't see the value. There are lot's of websites for us Disney lovers that can get info for free. I will not be paying this money. That is almost 1 night's stay at a value resort during value season.

Yes, I am!! I got the email, and read everything I can on it...and I've already asked my husband to get it for me for an early birthday present, and he agreed!! So yes, I am getting it! I'll let you guys know how it is...if its worth it and stuff.

The hubby got me it for an early Mother's Day gift and I am soooooo excited!!! Just got the email that it has been shipped! I can't wait to see the new magazine, I've heard it's beautiful!!!!

I'm interested in hearing people's responses to it. I know that the first issue of the magazine had exclusive pictures from the new Tim Burton-Johnny Depp "Alice in Wonderland" that's due out next year. But I saw a bunch of the scanned images on the internet, too. (The film, BTW, looks awesome, as long as you like the usual Burton-Depp work.)
I hope if people pay the money for it that they enjoy it. =)

Ok, I am an official charter member of D23...and I love it!! Personally it just makes me feel special to say that I'm a Charter Member!! ;-) Anyway, the D23 magazine is wonderful...and the bonus gift was so cool!! I also like the fact that there is merchandise that only I, as a member can buy...again, that special feeling is enough to send me over the moon! My husband said that it was totally worth it just to see the expression on my face when I got my initial D23 stuff, and even when I continue to get my D23 stuff!! ...so for me, I think it was worth it, but others may not! *on one small note...I think if you live in or near the LA area that you would benefit more from the membership with premiers, shows, and expos!
