Welcome Home and Escort for Chris De Pretis
groundrat - December 11, 2008
Last night we participated in a Welcome Home and Escort for Army Specialist Chris De Pretis of the 101st Airborne Division. Chris was returning from a 14 month tour in Iraq. It was a clod night but the weather held and things stayed dry. We had about 20 riders at the airport, and when we arrived at Chris's home there must have been 250 people waiting to welcome him. Chris Lives in Pleasanton, and If anyone read the Veterans day parade post, here was another example of why I love Pleasanton. Pleasanto is truely a "Hometown", and If I was not already established here in Concord, that would be the town i would be proud to live in.
