I'm Amanda and this is one of the first groups I've joined. I've not done too much creatively with my kids yet since they are so small but I do think we will start something this year for Christmas. I can't wait to read ideas!

Hello and welcome. Everyone knows how to make the hand turkey right? If you cut out the hand and tape the thumb to the pinky finger you have now created and angel. Turn it upside down and the fingers are the bottom of your angel's gown. My oldest "invented" this 2 yrs ago and it's one of my boys favorite decorations to make every year. If you have more than one child take the post of an earring and poke a hole in each gown. Run ribbon through your hole and attach them together. Now, you have an angel "army" and grandparents love having all the "kids"together. Here's to imagination!:)

Hello! Ok, who doesn't love the camaraderie and happiness of the holidays? But the holiday gift giving part can be overwhelming. It's nice to share happiness through gifts, but it's not easy. All summer, I have been working on a website that makes gift giving very easy. So easy you will almost feel guilty. It's called Tallwish. It's simply a family wish list. With the click of a name, a family member's wish list is right in front of you. Lots of people really like the Secret Suggestor. The Secret Suggestor allows secret gift giving suggestions to be put on other's wish list. Take a tour at www.Tallwish.com

LOL, Yes they are. The crafts get even trickier as they get older too. This was invented by my now 18 yr old. Can't wait to see what he comes home from college with. He has an art class where they take recyclables and make things from it. He says he wants to show me things and asked I not put the blue box out before he can go thru it. Oh boy, I am in for it now:)

I am going to try something today... I have an empty syrup Mrs. Butterworth's syrup bottle and as I washed it for the recycle bin, I thought I bet we can make it Mrs. Claus! I hope it comes out, but if not no biggee... it was headed to recycling anyway!
