Not house-broken? No problem!

As a full-time working mother, I have time issues. And tolerance issues. And tolerance over time issues. As in, I will not tolerate wasting my time if I don't have to.

This was on my mind as I decided to use The Ultimate Crib Sheet (retail: $17.99) from the get-go with Jolie. Appealing were: not having to dismantle the whole bedding unit during sheet changes (and this was before I realized how much of a royal pain sheet changes would actually be), a cottony soft next-to-baby-skin layer, and a waterproof backing that would resist leakage and other unspeakables (and this before I realized how much leakage and other unspeakables would be happening in that crib).

The sheets only come in white, which is not a big deal even if you are uptight like me about the whole nursery decorating scheme, as from the side, you only see your nursery-décor-coordinated crib sheet and not this layer on top. The Ultimate Crib Sheet snaps in place, making changes as easy as snapping it off, kind of like those male strippers ripping off their snap-pants (NOT that I would ever know).

What with frequent diaper failures and poop blow-outs (more than I thought humanly possible) the sheets have stood up well to FREQUENT washings. We ended up getting a 3rd sheet to add to our constant rotation, and over the last 22 months, only a couple of snaps have fallen off.

Impression: A total save.
