The 40% off is good on all non-sale shoes. (But really, who needs a sale when you get get these full price shoes at almost half off?!)

Both of my boys have worn a lot of Vincent Shoes -- our recent wear and a… Read More

Throwing a Kid-Friendly Christmas Party

On Saturday night, we had our first-annual Mandajuice Christmas party and if I can be so bold as to toot my own horn (which, you know, isn't so hard being a blogger and all), it was a lot of fun. Part of that can be attributed to my absolute LOVE for party-planning, but most of it is because we have such awesome friends and any time we get to spend with them is time well spent.

And presumably, if they ever enclosed the path, the one giant mall it would form would make it bigger than the Mall of America.

But you guys get the point -- it's two very large malls that have just about everything I could ever need shopping-wise inside. … Read More

I'm sure you've seen the news stories about all of the toy recalls due to lead paint. It seems like nearly anything plastic is worth casting suspicion at now. I've had to throw out several of our toys due to recalls, and I worry that others in the toy box will eventually find their way to the recall lists, too.

So this Christmas I've decided that we're going to be pickier when buying toys for the girls. And I've found… Read More
