The holidays are always crazy for us. Of course, they are crazy for everyone! But I also now have two kids with holiday birthdays -- the baby will be one in November and my oldest will be 4 in early December. Last year was tough -- I had to order birthday invites for my then-3 year old, birth announcements for the baby, thank you cards for the gifts for the baby and my son's birthday presents, and holiday cards. … Read More

Early bird catches the worm -- or in my case, the hottest new toy for Christmas.
Other mamas might still be worrying about Thanksgiving, but at my house we are already thinking about December 25. You may have waited until the last minute to carve your pumpkin for Halloween night (so that it didn't get all icky and oozy).
