You'd think the second time around I would have had enough baby products, but somehow it never seems like enough. And being the lazy Mom that I am, I didn't want to have to carry our one bouncer up and down the stairs several times a day. So I was in the market for a second infant seat of some kind as I move around the house a lot more than I did when my first son was born.
A friend recommended this Fisher Price Newborn to Toddler Rocker, and I was convinced it was a worthwhile purchase given it's potential for longevity in our house. The weight limit (40 pounds) just about covers my three-year-old. One product, two kids? I love that.
We opened it up and put it together, and as predicted my three-year-old immediately sat right down. He uses it regularly when his brother isn't in it. And it's proven to be one of the baby's favorite seats - ranking higher for him than our sing or regular bouncer.
Price isn't that much more than a usual bouncer too - $44.99 on the Toys R Us site and they are currently offering a free umbrella stroller with purchase. And it's cool that it'll last through the toddler years - which is more than the regular bouncer does.
It also vibrates and the toy bar can swing to the side - we have the bar in front when baby sits there, and it's off to the side when big brother's sitting in it.
