I am a big fan of Baby Jogger's City Series line.  We have a single that we have been using for years with my oldest. (See my review about it here on Family.com).  Of course, with two kids now we had to up the ante and get a double stroller.

My oldest is three and a half but we go to the beach most weekends every summer.  And although my son likes to walk, he isn't about to walk the distances we do in the summer.  We like to take nice long walks to the bay and to the playground, and I could just see getting two miles out to the playground and his asking to be carried home.

So we're all in with the Baby Jogger City Series double.  And I love it about as much as I love the single.  It's a bear to lift, I will say that - but any double is going to be this way.  It does fold very easily, and if I just give it a big heave, it gets in and out of the car. 

Otherwise, as my brother in law recently stated, it rides like a knife cuts through butter - so smooth you actually find yourself smiling to push it.  My husband loves that this monster of a stroller can actually be pushed and steered with one hand - and if you think about it, a double stroller, two kids, one hand?  That's pretty nice.

Other perks are similar to those of the single - an adjustable handle (great for a short and a tall parent as you can raise or lower it), the swivel lock front wheels and a nice big basket on the bottom.  They also updated the shades - these shades pull all the way down to virtually shield almost all of the baby and most of my 3 year old.

It folds very easily too.  I hate when I spend half an hour trying to figure out straps and latches to get a stroller to folder.  Yes, it's heavy, but it's literally two straps that are labeled "FOLD" in big letters in the base of the seat.  You pull them up, it folds and you're done.
