Bella Bandanas: an alternative to a wig (and 15% off)
0 |
Always on the look-out for new and different products, a Bella Bandana caught my eye a few months back when I was at my gym and spa. Made by a woman local to my area, Bella Bandanas began in the summer of 2006, when founder Barb Gunselman was diagnosed with breast cancer. She didn't like wigs and she was feeling unfeminine this particular day. She took a bandana, decorated it with Swarovski crystals, and the rest is history.
This is a great product. It's an unfortunate fact of life: cancer touches everyone in some way, whether you have it, or a loved one has or has had it. This product provides options. I can understand that not everyone can embrace wearing a wig, which is why having something like Bella Bandanas seems like such a great alternative to me.
I think Barb's story is inspiring - she belongs to my gym and I see her regularly working out in one of her bandanas, they're great accessories. Not to mention that you have to give her serious credit for facing such adversity and turning around and starting a business in the face of it. If you click through this link, you can receive 15% off any of the Bella Bandana styles through July 1st.
