This toddler tote makes for chic fall bag
I'm feeling very stylish this fall carrying my latest diaper bag, Baby Kaed's City Mom bag in brown. Now it's a known fact that I go through diaper bags pretty often. I recycle them a lot just for a change but sometimes I'm forced to give up a diaper bag prematurely. My latest was a cute leather tote - someone (we won't name names, think the under-4 crowd) put a sippy cup back into my bag upside down and open. I didn't notice it until the next day and it ruined the bag.
So I moved into a City Mom bag from Baby Kaed and I'm loving it. As mine is brown, I feel like it's a great color and bag for the fall. And I love that it's not too big. I'm in that in-between stage right now - kids not quite old enough for me to abandon the diaper bag all together, but I don't really need the big "fit your entire nursery in here" bag either. Most days it's just some diapers, wipes and a bottle or sippy cup.
The City Mom is working well for us. It has two pockets on either side for bottles, a feature I love in bags. (I usually have both occupied with two drinks for the kids, or a drink for one of the kids and a bottled water for me.) It has an outside back pocket that closes with a magnet - I'm stashing the changing pad in here.
Inside it has a number of pockets. It also comes with a bunch of add-ons like the changing pad, a zippered pouch (woohoo makeup bag!), a drawstring bag for messy clothes, a binky bag and a wipes case. You'll also find a key clip and a cell phone pocket. And you gotta love the strap, it has a big old silver buckle that's adjustable.
I was actually carrying this bag into preschool the other day when a friend stopped me and proclaimed, "you're looking extra stylish today Whitney! I think it's the bag!"
The price is pretty nice too as far as diaper bags go. $96.00 for the bag, use coupon code MOMMIES for 10% off your order.
