I love to read. I've always loved to read. My first
"adult" novel was a Judith Krantz when I was 11 years old that my
older cousin hid in my backpack one day under some important
instructions, "you just have to read this book - you'll learn so
much!" I don't remember much other than it being shocking and
trashy but I can say that it was only book after book at that
point.
Of course, it's much harder to… Read More

The amount of products that have come on the market in the past few years is amazing.
With my oldest, his diapers and wipes case went into whatever pocket I could jam them into in my diaper bag. With my baby today, I have such an array of choices it's almost overwhelming at times.
Here's just a sampling of some stylish and functional diapers and wipes holders that I've used in the past few years - some great little pouches and organizers to be… Read More

As some of you may have noticed from my last few posts, we
spend a lot of time at the beach. "Going down the shore" is a
cultural phenomena all over, and here in the Philadelphia region
it's all about the Jersey shore in the summer time. Each weekend
of each summer, you'll find gridlock on the various expressways
leading east towards the New Jersey beach.

Since having kids, I've changed my germaphobe ways. Prior
to kids, I'd carry little anti-bacterial soaps everywhere. I
wouldn't touch something if it fell on the ground, and I used
paper towels to open handles of public doors.
Two kids later, there are certain things I'll give on. Because unless you're SuperMom, I find that everyone has to give a little on the germ thing - it's just the nature of the job.
So there's certain things… Read More
