When I met my husband almost 9 years ago, I didn't know a
first down from a touchdown. But then I met hubby, moved to
Philadelphia and everything changed. Being an Eagles fan and
living in Philadelphia is like being a human and needing to eat.
It just is. Okay well that may be a *slight* exaggeration, but
Philly's a town with a ton of heart and spirit and one of the
times it's the most prominent is during football…

This year's Halloween is our biggest yet. At almost-4, my
oldest has been asking about it since last spring. He's held
firm on what he wants to be for months: a superhero. I don't
know where he learned about it but he's been on a kick with the
"traditional" superheroes for awhile now -- Superman, Batman and
Spiderman being the top three. Each night when he goes to bed,
we have to "do" one of the three. Superman involves one…

I have a 15-pound weight range. Weight "A"
is my happy woohoo-skinny-jeans weight and Weight "B" is the
Whitney-stop-eating-and-get-your-butt-back-to-the-gym higher
end.
Not counting pregnancies, I've been between weights A and B since I graduated form high school. I had learned to control it - pre-kids, as I'd start to see Weight B approaching, I could usually work out more and try and limit my food intake and I'd be okay.

I'm gym-obsessed, for a number of reasons. Working out is
a bit addicting; my kids love it; they have a great outdoor
waterpark for my oldest in the summertime, and working out keeps
me healthy and happy which is a good thing for my children as
well.
Beyond that, all of my oldest's extra-curricular activities are at our gym. At any given time, he's in number of programs - this month it's soccer and basketball for 3-5 year olds. … Read More

My love of Apple and computers began in the mid-80s, when
I'd spend hours drawing pictures in MacPaint on my parents first
Macintosh. Since then, I've been through many computers, cell
phones, laptops, PDAs and more. I confess; I'm a Mama with a
techie/geek streak.
Baby and phone do not mix well
So recently, when my pretty pink Motorola Razr broke (yes, there is a repercussion to letting your 9-month old use your cell phone as a teething toy),… Read More
