Indian Summer, Fall traditions

Posted October 11, 2007
I love the fall. I've lived in both the West coast and overseas in my life, and I literally yearned for the East Coast fall when I lived in those places: the changing colors on the trees, the smell of burning leaves, apple cider and pumpkins.

Of course, here in Philadelphia we've been having an Indian Summer most of the fall. It had been in the upper-80s for over a week now, but this morning we woke up to… Read More

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month. Of course, taking this photo and seeing this adorable hat got me thinking, what other products would… Read More

What goes into his lunch box

Posted September 18, 2007
One of my favorite blogs of all time is this site, Vegan LunchBox. We're not vegan, or vegetarian even, but I did spend awhile being vegetarian and we're not huge meat eaters. Plus, my son's school does not allow meat so I've had to get creative with what I can send him to eat each day for lunch when he stays for preschool Lunch Bunch.

On Vegan LunchBox, one Mom blogs (with pictures) about everything that… Read More

Following up on my blog from last week about our Halloween costumes arriving (Batman's still in his outfit almost every day, the excitement has NOT died down at all), I've been finding more coupons and additional stores to shop for Halloween costumes. I thought I'd list them here for anyone still shopping:

I listed BabyStyle last week; you can use coupon code BABYJEL for $10 off a purchase of $30 or more on their site.
