Pumpkin cookies, juice boxes, Peeps, fun print napkins, cute baggies and easy pumpkin decorating -- all fun!

We already know that I adore fall and a huge part of the fall fun is Halloween. Beyond the usual jack-o-lanterns, costumes and candy, I like to make the holiday last by starting a  few weeks early. I have fun wandering the aisles of local stores looking for new and neat  things to try out each year. The kids certainly like that I do this and wait with great  anticipation for me to break out my newest finds.

This year I found several things to bring home:

Peeps-I would be remiss if I didn't mention these. Peeps are made right here in my hometown at Just Born, Inc. This year they've come up with Spooky Friends Peeps-- individually wrapped skulls, bats & spiders, to hand out and more traditional styled  Cocoa Cats that really do taste chocolaty.

Ziploc Halloween Treat bags. Ziploc quality with three really cute designs for school snacks, party treats or trick-or-treat hand outs. I've sent my daughter to school with her daily snack in one of these for the past week and she loves it.

Party Creations napkins in the Groovy Ghouls design. Ultra-adorable "ghouls" grace this complete line, which I purchased at my local Giant.

Halloween Jack-O-Lantern Pumpkin Carving Push-ins from the Paper Magic Group are the best no-cut solution to pumpkin decorating. Our set has 3 sets of eyes, 3 sets of ears,  3 noses, 3 mouths and one set of horns. The kids loved getting to mix and match and rearrange until they found a face they loved.

HiC Frightening Fruit Punch in Halloween print boxes. A different alternative to the usual  trick-or-treat candy and most kids won't say no to a juice box. My own kids ask for these several times a day, even if they only get one a day.

Nestle Pumpkin Pals sugar cookies are a super easy way to get a little baking done for Halloween. Already cut and stamped with faces, there's nothing to it but to set them on a cookie tray and bake!

Sweetzels Spiced Wafers-another locally made love of mine. Some of my kids like them,  but they're more a grown-up thing in our house. I like to have them with coffee or hot chocolate once the kids are settled in bed or out to play.
