I found this helpful Thank You! Your vote will be tallied soon!

I don't know about you but my children are really sick of taking their lunch to school. They are on the "downhill" slope of the school year and the new lunch box they got in September is old hat. The girls are tired of peanut butter and jelly and the same old stuff.

One way to keep the kids jazzed up about their school lunches is for you and your kids to make a new lunch box. It is really inexpensive to do if you do it yourself. It's not even that expensive if you buy one.

Here is the information and you can see which one fits your schedule:

Do-It-Yourself Lunch Box

  1. Buy a plain aluminum lunch box. I have found them online or at craft stores. They are from $5 to $9 dollars.
  2. Buy some POST IT picture paper.
  3. You can print a picture on your computer using this paper.
  4. Then peel off the back of the paper and place it on the lunch box.

It's easy and it will put some WOW into lunch for the rest of the year.

Buy-It-Yourself Lunch Box
There is a great online place to buy custom lunch boxes. Ogg Studio has really creative and fun ways to jazz up lunch boxes. The cost is more than if you did it yourself but I think they put some coating on the boxes so it will probably last longer. If you want to check into this option, just go to their website.

Trust me, this is something your kids will love. Even my older daughter, who is 13, thinks this is cool. It may seem like a small thing but it will help liven up a boring lunch as the school year winds down.
