Only the Best for Daughter of the Princess
My teenager has her ear to the ground when it comes to the hottest trends in music, fashion, entertainment and yes, even makeup. That's why I go to her for advice on what to buy when I need to replace my war-torn cosmetic relics. Hers are pristine clean and "barely-been-used" new. (Color me jealous!) So, I thought, "Why not share some of her favorite hints?"

How to get perfectly curled, perfectly colored eyelashes every time:
- It all starts out with the eyelash curler. Me? I've been using the same tired old eyelash curler for the last 23 years (or so it seems...), but the Princess in Waiting? Hers is brand-spanking-new. Well, by comparison, that is. In reality, it's now about 3 years old and good as new. In fact the rubber thingy doesn't even look like it will EVER need replacing. I'm not kidding. Who makes this work of science, you might ask?
- Sonia Kashuk - As far as I know, the only place that sells these is Target. They may be slightly more expensive than some other brands at about $10.00. But I am telling you...you press down on those lashes, and Presto--Bang--Shazam! You've got curl, baby. And no ripped out eyelashes or pinched skin, either. It's perfect! It's the Sonia Kashuk Access Deluxe Eyelash Curler.
- What Princess in Waiting Loves About It (and I quote):
- Very easy to curl
- Doesn't curl too much
- Squishy thing lasts a long time
- Next, you gotta' get the color. Princess in Waiting absolutely swears by her Maybelline Great Lash Waterproof Mascara in Very Black. A coat or two of this mascara (after the curling of your lifetime, of course), and you are ready for the Red Carpet!
- What Princess in Waiting Loves About It:
- Doesn't clump
- Goes on nicely
- Doesn't wear off/smudge
