The "Budget Travel" Family Travel Handbook
0 |
Many magazines can be very stingy with the amount of print material that they also put online, and I understand that; they want people to spend money to buy the magazine.
The good news is that the folks at Budget Travel magazine have generously put a great deal of this month's (May 2007) special insert online. Behold, the "Family Travel Handbook 2007" has all sorts of goodies:
1) 15 Before 15 -- surprising places to travel with kids before they turn 15.
2) America's Most Scenic Train Rides.
3) Mysterious Prizes Await -- how to take the family geocaching.
4) Six Cool Attractions Opening This Year -- including the Grand Canyon Skywalk and more goodies at Pennsylvania's Hershey Park.
And here's a link that's not specifically for family travel but could be -- a road trip of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, home to the Yoopers. Great fun and not "the usual" travel destination.
