Back Home and Lovin' My WiFi
0 |
Hi there, patient readers.Â
Just a note to let you know that I'm finally back from North Carolina -- the Automotive Traveler article I researched/wrote/took photos for is scheduled for the July issue. I also turned in an article today for Texas Highways magazine on the kid-friendly Old Coupland Inn and Dancehall (one of the most original honky-tonks in Texas) and I tried to keep up with blogging duties during my trip as well, given the intermittent WiFi access at my hotels.
There's my overview of NASCAR-related attractions in Charlotte NC on Fast Machines (and featured in the current Carnival of Cities,) coverage of the All-Star and Coca-Cola 600 races and a summary of my Blue Ridge road trip over on the Family Travel blog.Â
Tonight I'm covering the NHRA drag races in Topeka, Kansas, if the rain there would just hold off.
Since I'm in a Southern mode, next up is a post updating your family travel options in Florida. Yay, beach!
