I was thrilled to transition from a monster-sized diaper bag to this convenient daytripper pack

I have a crazy dream that I will someday have the perfect bag for every occasion.  I imagine that the bag will contain just the right number of perfectly-sized pockets and that when I fill the bag with the day's necessities, it will not be too heavy.  It will, of course, be a stylish bag as well.

Just as soon as we emptied our big ol' diaper bag and put it in the closet, I got this mini pack as a dream-come-true replacement.

The front pocket has two compartments so I can stash cell phone, wallet and my tin of Altoids peppermint gum.  There are a few places to stash pens, and there is a little zippered pocket that's just perfect for Band-Aids.  Inside, there is a mesh pocket and a roomy main compartment for such a small bag.  There is also a mesh pocket on the side that's good for a bottle of water, keys or sunscreen.

This little pack got us through our first post-diaper bag days since it comfortably holds baby wipes and a couple of diapers.  It even got us through our recent inaugural day-long visit to Disneyland.  The bag is sturdy and pretty good-looking, I think.
