Our much-used Crayola Write Start Colored Pencils

Like many preschoolers, my girls love to color.  These sturdy Write Start colored pencils from Crayola are the perfect alternative to breakable crayons that entice children to peel their labels and leave the itsy peelings all over the floor.

I found these in a random Target when I was on a reporting job once with a few minutes to kill.  Unfortunately, I've never seen them in a store since, so I order them online, from a place like Dick Blick.  They're well worth the extra shipping.

Other people must have had a difficult time finding these pencils too, because I found this information on Crayola's site about where to buy them.

Wherever you buy them, I'm sure you'll love these pencils.  The colors are bright, the pencils easy to for preschool fingers to hold.  We have loved several packages of these right down to stubs.
