This is the third, and last, entry related to preventing the spread of germs, I promise. At least for now. It's simply on my mind lately as I anxiously wait for the end of flu season.
I found these witch hazel wipes -- Dickinson's Towlettes -- at my local pharmacy. (I'll write another time about the beauty of supporting one's local pharmacy.)
Every parent knows that it's simply common sense to carry all-purpose wipes along when going anywhere. But, these terrific wipes have the added benefit of a little cleaning umpf! to put germ-conscious parents at ease -- witch hazel with a little alcohol. According to the company's website, the alcohol is a "natural alcohol derived from a botanical source," and their products use the "finest botanical ingredients available."
The wipes are generously damp, so you don't have to use more than one to cleanse your toddler's grimy hands after they've been all over the handle of the shopping cart.
I toss a few in my bag whenever we go out, and I use them generously. I feel like it's worth the price to support our local drugstore. Hopefully it helps keep my daughters healthier. And, mostly, it puts my mind just a little more at ease.

About Me
I am an educator and freelance journalist. Between Mommy! Mommy! and my own website, BeTwinned, I hope to share trials and tribulations with others who, like me, simply couldn't have just one baby at a time.
