Miley Cyrus Watch: "Idol Gives Back"
13 |
Miley Cyrus, a.k.a. Hannah Montana, will appear on the "American Idol" charity show
She presented at the Oscars. Her tour was the hottest ticket in town (okay, the nation.) And now Miss Miley Cyrus is giving back.
The young star (also known as Hannah Montana) will appear on "Idol Gives Back," the Fox Network's April 9 presentation of "American Idol" that raises money for charity. Last year's show raised $76 million to benefit underprivileged kids.
Cyrus is the youngest on a list that includes many A-Listers, like Brad Pitt, Bono, Fergie, Carrie Underwood, Reese Witherspoon, and Mariah Carey. Football stars Peyton and Eli Manning will also appear.
Somehow, though, we think the 15-year-old singing-dancing-acting juggernaut that is Miley/Hannah will be the biggest draw.
Discuss in the comments: How do your kids feel about Miley Cyrus? And, as a parent, how do you feel if Miley Cyrus becomes a role model for kids?
