If Cate Blanchett wants you to see the new "Indiana Jones" are you going to argue?

How'd you spend your long weekend?

Us? We saw "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" ... um, pretty much twice. Once on Thursday (yes, it was hookey, but office-sanctioned hookey -- we love our jobs!) And once more on Saturday.

Our verdict? While we still put "Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark" at the top of our Indy list, we'd have to say this one is a near-tie for second with "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade."

We don't want to give too much away but we do want to say the cast was phenomenal. Here are three highlights:

Shia LaBeouf, who's gone from "Even Stevens" to '50s greaser. Impressive!
Cate Blanchett in a part that makes you marvel that her talent has translated to Indy villain, Katherine Hepburn and mom of three.
Harrison Ford -- Naysayers can put their tails -- or maybe their signature whips -- between their legs.
