Can your kids be TV-free and happy about it?
April 18, 2008
We admit it: We do like TV around here and we've been giving you a lot of news on TV events -- "Ben 10: Alien Force," "The Naked Brothers Band," "The Wonder Pets!" and pretty much everything Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana.
But TV-Turnoff Week starts in just a few days -- on April 21, running through April 27 -- and it sounds like a pretty good idea for families, especially those who think they've logged a little too much tube time throughout the winter.
So, next week we'll be back with some posts to help you find exciting things for your kids to do during TV-Turnoff Week. (But, since we are all about entertainment, expect a few nuggets on shows and specials you might want to tape and watch when the TV's back on.)
Talk in the comments: Can you and yours go a week without flipping on the tube? How will you spend your tv-free time?
