It's Beetle Mania on the April 21 episode of "The Wonder Pets!"

April 18, 2008

Nickelodeon's turning its cameras to a new kind of "Beetle" Mania -- The Wonder Pets are traveling to Liverpool, England to save their favorite rock band on "Save the Beetles," an animated mini-operetta premiering 7 p.m. EST/PST Monday, April 21 on Nickelodeon.

Parents have reason to dig this groovy "Pets" show: The tribute will feature Lenie Colacino and Tom Teeley of Broadway's "Beatlemania" as guest voices for the animated bug band, The Beetles. Larry Hochman -- who provided orchestration for "Monty Python's Spam-a-lot" -- is the show's lead composer.

Nickelodeon will also premiere three more new episodes of "The Wonder Pets!"  this week, at 10 a.m. EST/PST Wednesday, Thursday and Friday on Nickelodeon.

If you're honoring TV Turnoff Week, you might want to set the DVR or VCR for your little "Wonder Pets" fans.

What are your tots favorite animated television shows? As a parent, which do you like best?
