And Then There Were Three... What "Idol" Is Your Family Rooting For?
0 |
The last three: David Cook, David Archuleta and Syesha Mercado
And we're down to the wire, people. Last night, almost-"American Idol" Daniel Castro got the boot. Tuesday's Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame themed show proved a doozy for the dreadlocked singer, who tried to play up his laidback vibe with renditions of "I Shot the Sheriff" and "Mr. Tambourine Man."
The judges didn't go for it, and neither did the at-home audience.
So, who's left? Two guys named David: Cook, and the crowd-pleasing David Archuleta and almost-got-cut Syesha Mercado.
Cook did Duran Duran's "Hungry Like The Wolf" and The Who's "Baba O'Reilly." Archuleta sang "Stand By Me" and Elvis' "Love Me Tender." Mercado sang Tina Turner's "Proud Mary" and Sam Cooke's "A Change is Gonna Come."
Now tell us in the comments: Does your family watch and vote, or are you "Idol"-ed out? If you're tuning in, who's your favorite to win?
