In case you don't know, Sleeping Beauty comes out of the Disney Vault and onto Blu-Ray and DVD on Tuesday, October 7.

The newly restored version will let you see more than ever before, thanks to a high-definition, wide-screen restoration that will show you the very edges of the animation, frame per frame, offering a brand-new look at one of Disney's classics. (I attended a press event for the flick this summer, and, in one restored scene, you actually can see a fairy fluttering at the edge of the frame -- previously, she couldn't be shown because screens weren't wide enough.)
