Can you keep up with HSM cast's moves? (Photo courtesy of Walt Disney Pictures)
Something tells me that the kids of the future will have much more rhythm than their forebears. And for that, much credit is due to High School Musical. Between the two movies, the CDs, and the dance-along DVDs, kids everywhere are getting in the game ... the dance-off game, that is.
So why not make it official? The forthcoming High School Musical 3: Senior Year video game (for Wii and Playstation 2) couples the dance action of Dance Dance Revolution with all kids' fave tunes from the HSM flicks.
The new game, which can be purchased with a dance pad, allows kids to be their favorite HSM character (dibs on Sharpay for me), to dance along with songs like "Breakin' Free," "We're All in This Together," "What Time Is It?," "Get in the Game," and "Work This Out."
Parents, beware: Your attempts to play the game along with kids will be met with laughter if you dare bust out with your version of those timeless dance steps, The Hustle or The Running Man.
But that's okay: We're all in this together, remember?
The game, out October 21, is available for pre-order on Amazon.com.
In the comments, discuss: What's your family's favorite HSM tune to dance to?
