A month of gratitude: Day 13 - SWIFFER SWEEPERVAC

Great for hardwood floors
Because I'm a fairly lazy housekeeper, I've always been a fan of the Swiffer line of products. I realize they're disposable, which makes them less than environmentally-friendly, but we've always had a dog and nothing picks up wiry terrier fur like a Swiffer dust cloth. When we moved into this house and had the hardwood floors put in, I figured I'd vacuum them with my Dyson and then use my Swiffer WetJet to clean them, just like I'd done with every other floors we'd ever had.
Unfortunately, I learned the hard way that the Dyson was way too heavy for my hardwood floors and scratched them pretty easily. I also tried my smaller vacuum, but the same thing kept happening. Finally I broke down and bought the Swiffer SweeperVac as a last resort.
It changed my life. That thing picks up more dirt, lint, dog hair and crumbs than I ever thought possible for something so lightweight. It's easy to use, easy to clean and charges pretty quickly. It's even cordless and of course it doesn't scratch my floors.
