Because money doesn't grow on trees
A month of gratitude: Day 10 - BEING FRIENDLY
0 |
Today the gardener popped into the backyard to mow the lawn again. It always surprises me when he shows up, but we're glad to have someone to help with the yard work. Now it looks all clean and pretty and since most of the leaves have already fallen off the trees, it should stay that way for a little while at least.
The highlight, though, was when the gardener's daughter peeked around the gate to come play with Alex in the backyard. I saw her first and told Alex she was here to play. He BURST out the backdoor exclaiming, "I AM SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU AGAIN!"
I love that he's so outgoing and friendly and today I'm grateful that that little piece of my DNA is still going strong.
