Nobody said it would be easy.
I routinely remind myself of this.
But then, most things that are easily had aren't worth having. That must mean that my husband, three children and the dog (I can't forget my dog!) are definitely worth having.
I'm a working mother who lives, works and blogs in Philadelphia. The name of my blog is based upon a quote by another Philadelphia resident, Ben Franklin, who said, "He who waits upon fortune is never sure of dinner." And that's me to a tee - even though I'm pretty sure that Ben didn't mean it as a compliment.
I don't so much wait upon fortune as plan for it. You see, I'm a tax attorney (No, no, no, don't run screaming! It's fascinating, I swear!)
While my job means that I work with money, that's very different from having it. I understand what it means to try and make ends meet with a family. And that's what I'm here to talk about.
So tune in to see what's going on in my life, and how I manage my work and family. I hope to share a little bit about tax and finance along the way!
