Tax Day did not go off without a hitch this year.  It seemed that everywhere you looked, there was chaos.

If you had problems filing, there might be some relief for you.

If you had problems with e-file through Turbo Tax (Intuit reported problems with their server), the IRS has granted an extension through midnight today (April 19).

If you had problem because of the nor'reaster (like me), you have an additional week to file.  The IRS has announced an extension for "storm filers" through midnight April 26.  Just write "April 16 storm" on the top of your paper return or use the disaster feature of your software.

So go file!  Now, you have no excuses! ;)
