My
experience with paperbackswap.com wasn't as
I thought it would be. I apologize for recommending it without
trying it out a little longer first.
But that's one of the best parts about blogging... You can make reports as things change. So, mistake made. Forgive me?

In today's mail were the three confirmations for the
529 plans that I set up last week. All of
the accounts are now set up and ready to go.
This is the craziest part, though. Remember when I said that we couldn't afford to contribute lots of money to the plan so we were going to make incremental contributions? Those incremental contributions are fairly impressive. We've already pre-paid for 1/10th of a credit for each child, irrespective… Read More

really beautiful. And did I mention that it's free (I'm all

emailed a friend of mine here in Philly after reading
my post about 529 plans to ask me if I
Upromise.
Do I? Why would you not
Upromise?
It's a great way to save for college without actually taking any
money out of your own pocket.

I've been on
a bit of a cleaning spree as of late. Maybe
it's the weather. Maybe it's spring break. Maybe it's the fact

under the enormous amounts of dust and dog hair which have been
gathering in my house all winter.
At any rate, it's time for a change.
So, I've been trying to organize my house into some semblance of order. Piles… Read More
