You can only get so much candy on Halloween. Check out Oriental Trading for fun classroom treats, like these Toy-Filled Jack O'Lanterns

Need an easy, affordable, and unique treat for your kids' classroom Halloween party?

Many schools now ask that kids bring healthy snacks, which can be tough on Halloween. Candy and sweets are the order of the day and carrot sticks just don't go over well (unless your child is dressing as a rabbit, in which case, nice job keeping up a theme!)  Or, maybe your school is fine with candy and baked goods but your kid wants to bring a treat that stands out among all the fun-sized Kit Kats and Snickers bars.

We love Oriental Trading Company for all our Halloween treat needs. The site sells tons of cool trinkets and favors in bulk, so kids can surprise classmates with nifty toys and you don't have to break your wallet.

We checked out the site and really liked these Skull 'n' Bones Bouncing Balls (48 for $5.99), these creepy Halloween Tattoos (72 for $4.99); Mini Halloween Paratroopers (48 for $8.97); Halloween Clackers (48 for $7.99 -- though your child's teacher might have it out for you after giving these to the class!); and these gotta-have-'em Glow-in-the-Dark Vampire Fangs (72 for $5.49!). Pack it all inside these groovy "You've Been Boo'd!" Bags (12 for $1.97) and you have treat bags for a class of 24 that cost about $1.55 each (with lots of trinkets left over to hand out to trick-or-treaters!)

Or, if you're really trying to keep your work low-maintanence, you can even go the prepackaged route with the Jumbo Toy-Filled Jack O'Lanterns pictured at left. They cost $5.97 for 12.

The only trick is, get your order in now: The site promises standard shipping by Halloween for orders placed on or before October 26. (Standard shipping is free on orders of $49 or more.) On October 27, the site will guarantee in-time-for-Halloween shipping if you pay for 2-3 day delivery.

What is your child bringing for his or her classroom party? Are you throwing a Halloween party at home, too?
