Don't miss those perfect Halloween moments.

Have you ever spent hours meticulously hollowing out and carving elaborate pumpkins -- 'tis the season, after all -- only to have your jack-o-lanterns turn to mush on your front stoop before you're able to capture anything close to a good photo? Flash or no flash, candlelight or back lighting -- what works best? And how to snap a photo of the kids streaming up to their first trick-or-treat house in the low light of dusk?

Personally, I've never been able to yield anything more than blurry, overexposed photos from my digital camera at night. But this article on Photojojo, Halloween Photo Tips -- Our Ghoulish Guide to Scary Snaps, gives me great confidence this year. It's packed with the nitty gritty -- lighting and set-up -- and comes with other creative ideas on the best photos for this fun holiday.

Say "cheese!"
