Let the Halloween TV Specials Begin... in 3-D!

Golly from Cartoon Network's 'Out of Jimmy's Head' and Bloo from 'Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends' don their 3-D glasses.

Say it with me:
3-D!
3-D!
3-D!
I'd trade all my fun-sized KitKats (and I've got a nice haul) to watch the two all-new (and, yes, 3-D) Halloween specials that debut on Cartoon Network tomorrow, October 12.
As if the chance to wear red-and-blue lenses wasn't
treat enough, one of the specials is an episode of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends -- only the most charming and
original cartoon show to come along since I used to watch the Smurfs on Saturday mornings.
Called "Nightmare on Wilson Way," the episode follows
imaginary friend Bloo, who accidentally turns his Foster's Friends into
zombies. The 3-D kind.
Cartoon Network's new series, Out of Jimmy's Head, is also going 3-D in an episode titled, "Ghost." Jimmy (the live-action character amongst the cartoons that populate
his world) spots a ghost in his classroom, prompting his entrepreneurial friend
Craig to set up a business to capitalize on Jimmy's supernatural ability.
Free 3-D specs are available in copies of Time for
Kids (distributed in many schools) or you can visit Cartoon Network's site for instructions on how to make your own
pair.
The 3-D evening is airing as part of Cartoon
Network's new "Fried Dynamite" programming block. Put on your 3-D specs Friday,
October 12 at 7 p.m. (ET/PT) for Jimmy and
7:30 p.m. (ET/PT) for Foster's.
If you miss that first night, go to Yahoo! TV to findĀ dates and times for future airings of both shows.
So, see you in the Third Dimension. I'll bring the fun-sized KitKats.
