My oldest loved decorating this Halloween "bucket" yesterday

Following up on my blog from last week about our Halloween costumes arriving (Batman's still in his outfit almost every day, the excitement has NOT died down at all), I've been finding more coupons and additional stores to shop for Halloween costumes.  I thought I'd list them here for anyone still shopping:

I listed BabyStyle last week; you can use coupon code BABYJEL for $10 off a purchase of $30 or more on their site.

The Disney Store is great; both in store and online.  Online they tend to have promotions and coupons that last for a day or two so keep a watch.  Right now they already have markdowns on some costumes (up to 40% off!) and $5 flat shipping on a shipment of $50 or more.

I was surprised to see costumes in the Gap when I was in-store recently.  Cute ones, too!  If you have a Gap card, use coupon code FREESHIP for an order of $50 or more.  And if you don't have a card but want to purchase a little extra, use coupon code SHIP100 for free shipping on orders of $100 or more.

Of course I could kick myself because I found two coupon codes for BuyCostumes.com after having purchased our outfits.  Use coupon code FRIDAY1006 for 13% off your order (expires October 15th) if you pay with an Amex, or coupon code HDFAX15 for 15% off a purchase of $65 or more (also if you pay with an Amex)

10% off at Target with coupon code TCRCPTAB; they have a big selection of costumes as well.

You can also order from OneStep Ahead (0-3 years) and use coupon code SEPAFFB for 15% off your order of $75 or more (they have great baby products), or their sister site Leaps and Bounds (ages 3+) with coupon code SEPAFFK for 15% off your order of $75 or more.

I also wanted to recommend hitting up your local craft store before it gets too picked over.  We went to Michael's yesterday, where my oldest went just nuts looking at all of the Halloween crafts.  We've been spending a lot more time at home lately than usual with baby taking scheduled naps; doing crafts or reading books together has become a special time for me and my oldest when the baby is sleeping.

Lastly, I love my local Craigs List.  You can buy tons of used stuff at great prices.  I live in Philadelphia, so I use the local site for my own purposes, but they have dozens of cities and chances are, there's one near you.  I know that my local site has a ton of gently used Halloween costumes for sale so it's worth checking out.
