I love candy so much. It ranks right up there with French fries. So obviously as a Fit Mama, it's got to stay out of my life as much as possible. I really don't want to have it in my house. So I'm trying to figure out what food or little toys I could substitute for candy and not disappoint the neighborhood. I asked the experts: The Boy and The Girl.

October is here, which means it's time to dig out your trusty black witch's hat and gear up for Halloween. Shopping around, there are so many great Halloween products and ideas out there that I thought I'd take a minute to tell you about of few of my favorites.

I like to decorate each year for fall and Halloween and I haven't missed a year yet no matter what was going on. Even though this year is decidedly extra-busy, I'm still putting out the pumpkin and watering the mums.
Decorations that are ready-made are nice, but I enjoy making as many of my own as possible. For many years now I've decorated our front window (see photos 1 and 2) with construction paper cut-outs that… Read MorePosted by: BuckeyeChristy
Last weekend my husband and I braved the black hole known as our garage to look for our Halloween decorations. Buried in the piles of junk was a medium sized box containing all of our decorations.
Even though we love Halloween, we don't have a lot of decorations. We've only owned a house for three years, so we've tried to buy one or two new decorations each year. With our current financial situation, we couldn't afford fancy… Read More
