What a good article! My children are past the vaccine stage but I have friends who have small children and are in the same predicament. Please immunize your children. There are options where you don't have to give them all the shots at once, or at least wait until they're slightly older, but if they're not immunized, they can contract illnesses like measles that can be passed to other un-immunized kids and babies who are too young to have even gotten the chance to be immunized.

There was a major outbreak of measles in San Diego in 2008 because an un-immunized 7 year old got the disease in Europe. The government had to enact a full-force quarantine!! Babies got sick and almost died. I know people want to protect their children because they think there might be some risk, but the risk and impact to all the other children is too great.
