While big sister Jessica was busy about town feting her Dallas Cowboy quarterback boyfriend Tony Romo’s 28th birthday, Ashlee Simpson released her new record, "Bittersweet World," and continued to dodge questions about her much-rumored pregnancy.
Only Ellen Degeneres could get the newly redhead songstress to wrap pinkies on a pledge she wouldn’t keep denying it way into the eighth month a la Jennifer Lopez. "I swear. I promise you that," said Ashlee who also fielded congrats on her recent engagement to Fall Out Boy front man, Pete Wentz.
