For once in our married life, our timing is right.
Like most things in life, what is horrible for some is beneficial for others. We've rented for two years now, waiting to make sure that our move to California would be permanent. When we first moved here, housing prices were still sky high. But because of the current housing market crisis, the prices have been coming down--way down. It is definitely a buyer's market and lucky for us, we are buyers.

(Read Across America Day is in early March, but the Cheese's school is celebrating early because of parent/teacher conferences.) The day will be all about reading--hence the idea of pajama day, encouraging students to cuddle up with a good book.

The Cheese had to bring… Read MoreI'm excited.
I'm excited today because I get to vote for my favorite candidate.
I'm excited because today I get to have a say in who my party's candidate will be.
I will proudly wear my "I Voted!" sticker with pride to remind others that today really is super. Today is the kind of day that makes our country great.
It's easy to become apathetic about the whole process. Thoughts of "my one vote won't matter" have crept into our heads at one time or… Read More
