The Second Child Warning

Posted May 28, 2007
It appears that I am going to have to ban contact with anyone who has more than one child for the next five or six weeks. As more people are becoming aware that our second child is right around the corner, we have received grave warnings from those who have also recently added to their family ranging from "It's hard." to "It's really hard." To "We had no idea it would be this hard." These new second child parents are… Read More

Yesterday Jack and I did the grocery shopping. Normally, this involves serious haggling as Jack angles for donuts or cookies or something as his compensation for pushing the cart and mowing over other shoppers who fail to dive out of his way. Yesterday however, Jack decided to fixate on a box of white cake mix. This was great news from my perspective as he walked around with the box clutched to his chest- it kept away from his bakery tantrums… Read More

The Happiness Set Point

Posted May 21, 2007

Specifically if this is true, I'd like to know how you bump it up without all the rigmarole of success, hard work, achievement and luck.

I pointed this out to my husband the other day as he returned from work afflicted by 3rd party… Read More

Product Review: Zantac 75

Posted May 19, 2007
Pregnant ladies, listen up, this review is for you. If you have been pregnant before, you will no doubt be aware of the little problem referred to as "heartburn" that will find its way to you by your third trimester. "Heartburn" doesnt really do it justice since in reality its more like choking on vials of corrosive acid that leads you to sleep in an upright position like grandma in her easy chair, and clutch bottles of Tums for dear… Read More
