Guide to Pirate Parenting

This summer my kids are obsessed with Pirates.  We've seen the new "Pirates-3" movie two times so far this summer and we'll probably see it more.  Our family loves Jack Sparrow (and of course, Orlando Bloom).  As a mom, I like it that the female lead in the series,  the Elizabeth character is so bold and independent.  She doesn't wait for the guys to rescue her, she grabs her sword and gets in the middle of the fight.  In honor of the awesome "Pirates-3" movie, here are a few more ways to bring a little "Pirate" into your daily life.

Pirate Toast Stamp
Fix your Pirate loving kids toast with a pirate touch.  Get a Pirate Toast Stamp at Archie McPhee!

Deluxe Pirate Eye Patch
Get your pirates an eye patch!  Nothing is cooler than an eye patch for your pirates.

Pirate Bath Mat
A pirate bath mat is good way to add a little pirate decor without painting the whole room black.

Pirate Bandages
If your pirates are hurt after "walking the plank", give them a pirate bandage.  It's make them  smile.

Guide to Pirate Parenting
Hillarious book by Tim Bete.  This book is totally fun and gives parents ideas for raising a better pirate.
