If you are a parent, especially the parent of a girl,
sleepovers are a fact of life. Girls love sleepovers. They love
to have them, the love to go to them. My daughters and their

Organizing my family is hard because I am not a natural in

The presents have been opened. The holiday treats are
still around and everyone in your family is sleeping too little
and eating too much. The routine is so far gone it's a joke.
It's the post holiday but not quite "reality" time of year. You
may be working or you may have time off. But no matter what,
this is a time period that all of us are a few pounds heavier and
