Posted May 22, 2007

I am a hot weather person, I love sun and water. Summer is my favorite time of the year. This week I have new suggestions for ways to kick off the summer season.

Here are more tips for ways to kick off your family summer fun time:

Summer Bag
I love summer purses and bags. Ditch the leather and serious purses. Get a bright summer tote for all the usual purse items, plus sunscreen and your… Read More

Stuff to Help You Kick Off Summer

Posted May 21, 2007
This week I'll have suggestions for products to help your family officially kick off summer.
Memorial Day is the start of the season. Here are some fun ways to "jump in" to summertime fun.
(Sorry for the cheesy pun but as you can tell, I love summer).

Umbrellas for Drinks
My assistant, model and youngest daughter Katie models the drink umbrellas I purchased at Pier One. Kids love these umbrellas. Put some of these in the drinks… Read More

Cool Stuff for Your Devil Doggy

Posted May 21, 2007
The puppy you see in the picture is our pug, Peanut.

Take-Out Chic
I am a horrible cook. Just ask my family. My favorite way to cook is by dailing
for take-out and I received a fun "take-out" holder for the… Read More

Let's face facts.
It takes a woman that is brave or truly insane to:
  1. Take a toddler to an restaurant without a drive-thru.
  2. Go on a field trip with a class of 7th graders.
  3. Try to explain to an 8-year-old girl why she can't wear a bra yet.
It's not just a job...it's an ADVENTURE.

Why do so many Mother's Day gifts and ideas revolve around
sugar, spice and everything nice? … Read More
I love MikWright greeting cards. The company and their products are very popular and while their humor might not fly for all ocassions, most of us can relate to their use of old family pictures with very off-beat captions.

I might not send a MikWright card to my 80-year-old aunt but I just bought a bunch of cards for my friends and family for Mother's Day and Birthdays.

The card you see in the picture has the following Read More
