I have foggy memories of the person I was before I had kids. I was a person drifting through life happily, working from home for my cushy job, taking classes part-time for a Masters degree, and enjoying being a 20-something with my boyfriend, later fiancé, and eventually husband.
I can vaguely remember the wealth of free time I had. The times we'd spend sitting around asking each… Read MoreI love this time of year.
There's something about these days, with the crisp breeze, the warm sun, the brilliant blue sky, and the trees turning beautiful shades of yellow, orange and red that fills me with happiness. Fall is my favorite season, and despite the overly warm days we've had this year, I am determined to take it in as much as possible.
This past weekend we made our annual trek to the pumpkin patch. This particular farm is owned by… Read MoreSo far, Mira has proven to be very different from her sister. I didn't expect her to acclimate so quickly, but by the end of last week, I could leave her in her classroom without any tears from her. The key was to spend a few minutes together, and then get her interested in the lunch they were setting up before I left.
Her teacher reports that Cordy is joining in on group activities. During circle time, each… Read MoreAbout Me
