So as I said in my previous post, we're now trying to renovate our junk room and transform it into Miranda's nursery. But that room isn't the only thing I want to transform at the moment. Now that I'm four weeks postpartum, I'm slowly starting to take stock of the shape of my body and the damage left behind by my pregnancy.
My first pregnancy, I gained 20 pounds total. After Cordy was born, I lost that 20 pounds very… Read MoreMira has been with us for three weeks now, and is doing very well. She has a lot of comfortable places to rest, including a bouncy seat, a swing, and a co-sleeper bassinet. She still doesn't have her own room, however.

She will have plenty of time in her… Read MoreOur neighborhood is full of kids, many of them elementary school age or younger. Yet Cordy isn't friends with any of them. There are probably some nice kids her age a block or two over, but the kids who are closest to us have proven to me time and again that they are not good influences. Specifically, the kids next door are terrors.
Our next-door neighbors have four children. The youngest is six months older than Cordy, and the others are… Read MoreAbout Me
