Tell us about the theme of your party and how you made it fabulous:
My daugter is crazy over Pokemon and absolutely loves Pikachu. I was not able to find a Pokemon cake anywhere so I decided to make one on my own.
I found the paper supplies at a party shop and cut out the characters from the table cloth and used them as decorations on the wall.
We made Pokemon characters out of Perler beads and the gifts I bought my daughter were all Pokemon themed (books, ds games, etc.)

List of Materials (craft) / Ingredients (cakes or cupcakes):
I bought boxed cake mix and frosting at our local grocery store and followed the directions on it to make the vanilla cake.
After the cake cooled, I frosted it with vanilla frosting. I also bought a can of green decorating spray to use as grass. I picked up the Pokemon characters at a gift shop to decorate the cake with. My daughter was very happy with the cake!

Instructions for making your party craft or birthday treat:
As a party craft, we made Pokemon characters out of Perler Beads. This was a lot of fun for all the children. I had patterns of a few of the Pokemon characters and let the children choose which one they wanted to make.
Children just follow the colored patterns to make the character. Afterwards, I use heat to fuse the beads together.

Contest Photo Tips and Guidelines:
- Avoid clutter. Keep the background simple -- your gingerbread house or holiday cookie is the star!
- Daytime, natural light is best. If your area is bright enough, try taking the photo without the flash.
- Upload a horizontal photo. If you crop the image on your computer, make sure you keep a landscape 4:3 aspect ratio.
- For best results, make your image 1200x900 (or "save for web").
- With a digital camera, you can take as many photos as possible and choose the best one. Have fun!
