Pretty fairy princess dress with accompanying hat and wand.
Costume Instructions
Prep Time: About 4 ½ hours.
Costume Materials
12-inch wooden dowel for wand
Elastic cord to go under chin
Sparkly star for top of wand
Fabric glue
3 yards of white tulle
Silver or white jeweled trim for hat
White craft foam (11" x 17")

Costume Instructions
2. For the hat, we took the white craft foam and rolled it into the shape of a cone. We stapled the edges together. We then took the tulle and wrapped it around the craft foam, gluing it into place as we went around the cone. Be sure not to use too much glue as the tulle is thin. Measure the amount of elastic cord that you want for the chin-strap length. Make a knot on each end of the cord and staple the ends to the inside of the hat. Take the jeweled trim and glue it around the base of the hat.
